We have insurance on our rings, so it'd be covered even if something happened to it or if I lost it, but I'd still feel nervous.

My engagement ring is yellow gold with diamond pave band, oval diamond main, and has hidden pave bridge under the cathedral setting. It's more than I ever expected from him and I absolutely adore it!!! My wedding band is going to be worn on my right hand (looks hideous with my E ring) and it's my great grandma's ring- yellow gold with three itty bitty diamonds spaced out across the top!

After looking at several options for wedding rings, we went with subtle rings chosen by my husband. They are two-toned in Hawaiian Koa wood and silver metal (below). As our professions limit hand jewelry, he wears his on occasions out and I wear mine on office days. They are blessed by our priest and that's all that matters to us. I rarely wear my diamond engagement ring, a family heirloom, because I'm unused to raised jewelry. While our wedding rings were low-cost, I'm def not low-maintenance with jewelry or anything else though. ha!

So, we were "technically" engaged before we were "officially" engaged (ie we decided to get married and then got the ring and he did the whole down on one knee thing) and when we decided to get the ring, he sat down to look online and asked me what I was looking for. We ended up finding something I love soooo much.

I had originally told him I would love a cushion cut diamond, with a halo, on a pave band. I'm not a fan of yellow gold, so I wanted white gold.

The ring I have (and adore!) is a 2.25 carat cushion cut diamond, with 191 round cut diamonds on 3 sides of the setting (a triple pave as they call it) that equal another carat on a white gold band. We went with a lab grown center diamond - because its better for the environment and its ethically created, while still being a real diamond! It has a slight split shaft, which I never though I'd like but think is very pretty.

We just ordered our wedding rings, and mine is a white gold band with diamonds on the top. We chose not to get the one that technically "matched" my engagement ring, because I thought the triple pave on just a band looked too muddled. My fiancé went with a very simple white gold band - he won't wear his a ton as he can't with his job (hands in water and with electrical wires all day long).

We ordered my engagement ring from a local jeweler here in the city, but we got our wedding rings from my family's jeweler who we have been purchasing from for over 40 years. I grew up on the other side of the country from where we live, so getting our wedding rings from them was really special to me.

My ring is 14k rose gold with a 2ct moissanite round center stone, and 3 small moissanites on each side! My wedding band is also 14k rose gold and it's designed to look like a vine!

Can't figure out how to ad to a previous post but this is my 1930s era engagement ring that was my fiance's families and the 1930s era band that I found at a pawn shop just as week!! Love the look, feel, and history of it!!!

Before my husband proposed to me we had been ring browsing together a lot. We both are very sentimental and we love vintage and antique things. We also both knew that we wanted something unique as well as colored stones in our rings. After looking and getting ideas he found my ring. (I still wanted to be surprised) My engagement ring is from the 1930’s with a European cut center stones with small diamonds and emeralds on the platinum band. There is beautiful filigree Work on the sides as well all done by hand. So when my husband found this vintage engagement ring at our local Jewelery Store he had them custom make a wedding band to match which also consisted of filigree done by hand to match. For our 1 year anniversary last October he had them make a second band just like the first band.


His wedding band is custom made to match my ring but in white gold with 4 diamonds and a center emerald.

My ring story is simple. After ring blasting him for a year he finally said send me your top 3. I sent my too 4 with the 4th being the dream ring. And Lo and behold that’s what I got. I was a long time fan of Mia Farrows engagement ring given to her by Frank Sinatra. Not only did my ring look exactly like hers but it was ironically designed by the son of the jeweler who made it for her. A little unknown fact that my fiancé k ew but I didn’t. Anyhoo here she is.

My ring is 14 karat white gold. My husband and I had talked about getting married and have gone to jewelry stores before to look at rings. So one day he asked me to go in a jewelry store with him so that he can ask questions about buying a ring. Once he did he asked me to pick my ring.

Just got married on 9/17 and my engagement ring is white gold with almost 1 carat diamond and little diamonds around it .. My wedding band is just super dainty and it’s also white gold and has diamonds around it 🥰
