What kind of robes did you get?

So in the hustle and bustle of Black Friday/Cyber Monday, I scooped up some satin robes from Etsy that were on sale. This was clearly a mistake, as I didn't think through the wrinkles or slippery nature of satin. There's also several pulls and running threads and I'm just not feeling great about...

There's also several pulls and running threads and I'm just not feeling great about these overall - but what can you expect for $5 each with no returns?

Now I'm more thoughtfully considering cotton or jersey material, and have stumbled upon the cotton waffle style. If you did cotton/waffle, I'd love to see your pictures!

(I'm planning on doing simple navy robes, FYI - no monograms or things that say 'bridesmaid' as I'd like the girls to be able to reuse these for everyday wear.)

They're champagne gold. The flowers are pretty. The picture doesnt really show it well.

    Aw that's a shame!

Because there is such a sizeable markup on any product that contains the word "wedding" in its description, it might be more cost-effective to buy nice robes and then have the stitch-work done elsewhere (I think Joanne's fabrics might offer this service).

I really like flannels as well, but since we got married in the summer I thought they would be too heavy to wear. It was a good thing I didn't with flannels because we got married on one of the hottest days of the year.
