What is your first dance songs and do they have a deep meaning to them?

We chose Emily Hackett's "Take my heart, take my hand." It's really perfect for us. He asked my dad for permission to marry me and was worried Dad would think he wasn't good enough (he had nothing to worry about!). I've had crappy relationships and once told him when we first started dating that I didn't understand what love is. Plus we both think that marriage means choosing the same person again and again, no matter what happens. When we heard the song, we knew it was ours even though it's not a well known song

My FH chose "Share My Life" by Kem. I had other songs in mind but he was adamant on this song because of the words and we love the melody.

Ours is Good Morning Beautiful by Steve Holy, we both love the song and it's not too common for first dances so I like it. Yours is beautiful I've heard it a few times and such a great reasoning behind it!

Our first dance song is Say You Won't Let Go by Boyce Avenue. When I heard it for the first time, I cried. FH and I have this thing where we always say "I love you, until ghost ghost heaven", and there's a line in the song that says 'I wanna live with you, even when we're ghosts'. The whole song is just a perfect fit for us.

Crazy As Me by Granger Smith. It's the very song we ever danced to together. I do not dance ever!! And we danced at his sister's wedding to it. So it has a significant meaning to me.

We're choosing the Peter Gabriel version of "Book of Love". The song is both extremely sweet and silly, which is perfect for our relationship. FH really wants it as well because it was on in the background when, years ago, FH realized he didn't want to spend his life with anyone else - his words.

Your Love Is King by Sade. No special meaning. We both really like the song and after listening to it together decided it should be our first dance song.

Our will be This Is Why I Need You by Jesse Ruben. Sweet song. We don't really have 'a song' so we just picked one that I like.

"I Choose you" Ryann Darling. Originally I wanted "At Last" by Etta James. But after hearing the first one, we both cried a little. And after both of us going through so much in crappy relationships and having our hearts broken, we would go through it all again to find each other.

Our first dance will be I Dont Dance by Lee Bryce. I am a huge dancer (competed in ballroom dancing in college) but he isnt. Hes extremely pigeoned toed and thus clumsy (its adorable). My former dancer partner (best friend and brides man) is going to help me choreograph a dance that involves a lot of spinning on my part and very little movement on his.

I wanted to dance to a unique song, and I'm an addict to romance anime. I had recently listened to the full opening song to "La Corda D'Oro" called "Brand New Breeze" and I fell in love with it! I played it for my fiancé, and he said "wow, that IS a good song! This would be great for our first dance!"

@OP your song is so sweet! Ours is Never Stop by SafetySuit. Not only has it been "our song" since we started dating, but the lyrics echo the promises made during an exchange of vows. Saying that we will never stop loving each other no matter what.

We chose "God gave me you" by Blake Shelton, we both really love country music and we love the lyrics to this song, specifically "God gave me you for the ups and downs, God gave me you for the days of doubt". FH is my rock, he's always there for me and this song was just so fitting!
