What is your first dance song?

It took us awhile to choose a first dance song, but we didn't want something that was too overdone. I heard this song as I was playing my itunes music on shuffle and the words were perfect. One major thing they talked about in our marriage class at our church was that you make the active choice to love eachother, be a faithful partner, good husband/wife. That really stuck with us and we loved that the song talked about "choosing eachother"

Ours is Soul Sister by Train. I first fell in love with him at his zumba class and that was his cool down song then. So that turned into our song. And now we're both zumba instructors and we teach together.

We choose God Gave Me You, by Blake Shelton. We listened to a few songs, but this one just seemed to fit us best. and we both knew when we listened it that is should be our first dance song

Who I Am With You by Chris Young. I love the words, made FH listen to them and he agreed, it works for us.

We are using Ed Sheeran Thinking Out Loud, FH loves it! But our second choice I Choose You by Sara Bareilles, same as @Future MrsW! I love that song! We added it to the must play list instead.

Were dancing to Just a Kiss by Lady Antebellum. That's our song

Ours is Without You by Motley Crue. It was our song when we were kids, and it was the song he proposed to me, when we saw them for their final tour.

I love that you're using a DMB song! I was contemplating using "You and Me" because FH is a huge DMB fan, and we just went to a concert in June. But the tempo felt a little tricky to dance to. We still haven't decided on a song and it's been a big headache honestly. Lol.

You Make it Looks So Easy by Eric Church. I narrowed my list of about 20 songs down to 3 or 4 and FH and I danced in our backyard to each one and this is the one that gave us "the feels"

oh and also because Eric Church is my man crush.

Not totally positive yet but I think young and beautiful by Lana del Rey is a possibility for us

"Giving it all to You" by Hailey and Michaels. It's a beautiful song and as soon as we heard it we both got goose bumps so we knew we had a winner!

Ours is also going to be Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. We love it so much and we just started singing it together and it just felt so right for both of us.

Ours song is No Place I'd Rather be by Clean bandit but a slowed down version by Jasmine Thompson. We love the song and its so nice in the slowed down version!
