Well Rascal Flatts "My Wish" was my class song in high school, so I'm a little fond of that... But I'm Having "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman. It just is special to me, and when I heard it on the Radio after I got engaged, I was like: Yep, this is it and it's perfect.
"In my Daughter's Eye," by Martina McBride. We had heard it sung, when we previewed our band, and my eyes filled up. It has the lyrics "In my daughter's eyes, I am a hero. I am strong and wise, and I know no fear." which is really appropriate because my father has an incurable muscle wasting disease, and had to get leg braces, the week before my wedding.
Not doing a father-daughter dance. I'm doing a mother-daughter dance instead.
We are dancing to "Ribbon In the Sky" by Stevie Wonder to start out with and ending up with "Freak-A-Leak" by Petey Pablo. I picked these songs because when I was really little, my mom would dance around the house with me to the Stevie Wonder song and when I was a teenager, she'd keep me and my friends in stitches dancing to the Petey Pablo song.
I'm dancing with my sister to "Dance With My Father Again" by Luther Vandross. Originally, I was supposed to dance with my dad to "Changes" by Kelly and Ozzy Osbourne.
