Our first holiday as a married couple will be Thanksgiving!! I am so excited to have an October wedding. All of the excitement of the wedding will fade right into the excitement of the holidays!! I couldn’t be more excited.

Does Halloween count? We are getting married on October 26th! Veterans Day or Thanksgiving. Depends on what you want to count as a Holiday. The first Holiday we will actually spend together as a married couple is Thanksgiving. Our first few months married we will spend in separate states as I'm wrapping up my Ph.D. degree.

We're getting married on Leap Day next year so the closest holiday is St. Patrick's Day, but we usually don't do anything for that. Easter will be our first big holiday as a married couple! I count think Leap Day should count as a holiday, though.
