What is supposed to match color wise?

So I am having a hard time planning what colors to pick, what florals I should use, and how to decorate. Is it all supposed to match? So I am having a hard time planning what colors to pick, what florals I should use, and how to decorate. Is it all supposed to match? I have so many people giving opinions and questioning my decisions in a negative Manor that it seems like every time I make a decision....I end up rethinking it. This wedding planning has NOT been what I always imagined it to be. My theme is modern marble with elegant winter details. I want crisp and clean so I am trying to stay away from loud colors. I initially wanted a winter wonderland theme but we are in Florida and are having our wedding on the beach so that's pretty difficult to achieve.

My question is what aspects of the wedding need to match? My bridesmaids will be wearing dark emerald green dresses but I don't want to see that green all over my decorations. How do I pick my florals and can I have a different color added to the florals that isn't found anywhere else?

I think everyone will always have their opinions, but as long as it’s what you and your FH wants, their opinion doesn’t matter. Do you have another color besides the green? I agree with the PP about blush or white going well with the green or maybe white and gold? Those colors will be easy to pair especially with flowers. For your flowers, maybe do white flowers with blush roses or peonies and green fillers if you decide to go that route. I personally think that flowers should be consistent with bouquets , ceremony and centerpieces but that’s personally up to you. Maybe once you add more colors you can find pictures of flowers you like. I can also post pictures as well!

And if your reception isn’t on the beach , I’d say still go with the winter wonderland if that’s what you want! Make the day the way you and your FH want 😊

Thank you Courtney. I think I will definitely use the white and green fillers. I may add some dusty blue and gold sparkle pieces to add more color that will also compliment the rest of my decor.

It is still on the beach but you're right. I think I am going to keep my wintery feel to my modern marble theme. ❤️

    I totally agree!

I also suggest stop sharing details with others if you’re not getting the support you’d like. My hubby & I kept our details secret because we wanted to surprise guests, but I think it anyone had said something like “I don’t like that, I would choose...” I would have screamed, “Great, do that for YOUR wedding!” 😝

Why cant the green be lush greenery leaves? Mix in some light cream and blush flowers on top of it.

I think votive candles are super romantic especially since you're lucky enough to have your wedding at the beach! Colors to pair with emerald could be cream, ivory or like others have mentioned blush to keep it subtle yet elegant.

I actually think that's exactly how I am going to incorporate the green... through lush greenery. ❤️

Gold votives are a good idea too. They are really simple to pop into spaces to add some glam.
