What is a wedding style?

Congrats!!

You don’t have to have a style but common ones are rustic, modern, classic, fairytale, boho, vintage. You can also weave in themes or things that are important to you such as cats, planes, Peter Pan, Game of Thrones, a fav book or video game. If you want a style it can help to decide one before you shop for venues. If you & your sweetie want rustic, a barn or winery is a great choice. If you or your partner love planes but like modern style, an aerospace museum with modern decor rentals would be great. It’s way easier and cheaper to decorate a venue that fits your style/theme.

But if you want a romantic style with specific colors, that’s ok too. You don’t have to choose a style/theme.

It’s definitely not necessary, I won’t be having a certain “style” and I’m keeping allllllll the decor to a minimum.

My mother keeps asking me what our "theme" is. I keep telling her it's a wedding and not prom! The theme is WEDDING, for goodness sakes! That being said, it does help when you're talking to photographers and the venue/florists to describe the over all 'feel' so that things kind of match.

I agree with PPs that you don't necessarily need a set style! Do whatever you'd like

I didn’t have a style that I was aware of but now that o see everything that I picked and loved it’s really classic with some modern touches! So you might find your style once you have everything you see you picked. You’ll probably tend to like certain things more but don’t necessarily have to enclosed it into one style
