What goes on a cake table besides the cake?!

You can add it to your dessert table if you are having one. You can just have candles, lanterns, greenery, flowers, mr and mrs sign or your name letters.

We had our toasting flutes on the table with a bottle of champagne, we also had our cake cutting set with Mr and Mrs plates and antique silver cake forks, and flowers and candles.

Are you having a traditional tiered cake? We had a small cake for cutting and cupcakes. We used various cake stands and some loose flowers and greenery. This isn’t a great picture but it’s the best I’ve got. 😬

I love the idea of a mini cake arch. You can buy rings like this pretty cheap online and DIY some silk flowers or ask your florist to make some sprays to match your centerpieces. You can also do more traditional florals, candles, etc. to match your centerpieces around the base of a cake stand, or have trays of other small desserts.

Thanks! I actually registered for them from Bed Bath and Beyond and my cousin got them for me for my bridal shower.

Ours was just our cake and some candles! Didn’t want too much clutter there and also don’t want people walking over there too much and breathing all over the cake lol

We didn't decorate ours aha. We just let the cake be it's work of art

We had two cakes, a sequin tablecloth, cake knife/server set, and cake boxes for leftovers. Plus I think the florist left a vase of roses.

My sister put our bridesmaid bouquets around the table after the ceremony. It was pretty

We had the cake, our fancy knife & server set, extra rose petals that were part of our centerpiece, and we did the backdrop lights that drape around the edge of the table.

We had a white tablecloth on our cake table, along with the groom's cake. We also had my bouquet and another vase of flowers on the table!

You know ... i don't think i had anything on my cake table. the stand was a pretty and simple silver stand (supplied by venue). and i had two cake toppers. nothing else on the table.

We had it on it's on table. We put it on a glass cake holder, a white sparkly table clothes, so silver and purple fake flower petals, the servers and cake plates

We're having our cake in the center of the cake table and our dessert bar around it

Anything you want. You can have candles, flowers, greenery, a special cake topper or figurine to the side that fits your interests.

Plates, forks, napkins, a knife to cut with are also on the table. So it really won't be bare.
