What dresses are you changing into after the ceremony is over?

I'm trying to find a cute dress, but no luck. Of course, I don't want to spend a lot of money.. Any ideas, ladies?

My dress has two skirts, so we'll see if I change into the shorter one. I'd like to wear the whole thing all night, but I don't know if I will make it. I got flats, but will probably end up barefoot anyway

Not changing - my gown is heavy but dang I look good! haha

That's really cool Julie - I've always loved the idea of the convertible gowns!

I'm wearing my dress for as long as I can even if i'm uncomfortable lol. I love it and you only get to wear your wedding dress once.

Hi Tat,It will be reception after ceremony ,let’s think about what will you do next time, drinking, moving a lot, dancing and something else. So convenient is first point. Second. I think you must want a romantic dancing with him ,a chiffon or silk like satin fabric dress will give you wonderful feeling and experience. Third a simple formal dress won’t cost too much. Just opinion, wish useful for you. Have a good weekend.

Well, I am pleased to hear that majority of you is on the same page as I am. I love my dress, I paid a lot of $$ and I do not want to take it off right away…. Outside pressure made me think about getting another dress even though I am 2 weeks away from my wedding day (OMG!). I wasn’t able to find anything cute online or in the stores right away. I have a very casual white eyelet dress that I may have as a backup if I absolutely cannot stand my dress any longer. My only concern is that my husband to be is a ballroom dancer and I’m afraid I won’t be able to keep up with him in my dress…. But I definitely will be keeping it on for bouquet, cake, garter and all those special moments!
