As the bride, am I responsible for choosing what the flower girl wears? I was always under the assumption that her parents would choose what she wears, but her mother seems to be under the impression that I should choose what she wears. Do Flower Girls traditionally wear the same color as the bridesmaids? Or do they dress in white like the brides? Also, am I responsible for paying for her dress? I need some guidance.

My daughters FF's will be wearing navy & white dress. Navy is not one of her colors, but her little cousins wanted to wear blue, so that what she she bought them. My daughter and her fiancé purchased the entire wedding party's attire ... shoes and all. They figured that if the were asking them to be a part of their big day AND expecting them to wear a certain type of color and style, the least the could do, is pay for everything. They have 1 MOH, 6 BM, 2 FG, 1 RB, 1 BM & 6 GM

I think it is customary for the bride or groom to pay for the dress. At least thoughtful.

We are using a spring color palate. Just before Easter there were lots of dresses in my colors at Kohl's. Their mom and I gave them a couple of choices we would be happy with and let them pick. I want them to be super happy when they walk down the aisle so that they... yard know... actually walk down the aisle

I waited until the month before to buy my daughters flower girl dresses. My sister-in-law recommended princessly. The dresses were perfect. And both girls (including the 2 year old) made it down the aisle!
