I have this friend who told me his price per person included the centerpiece cost. I was like no, price per person doesn't include centerpiece cost. To me price per person is only food, drinks, and in some cases venue rental fee (some venues build the rental cost in with the food cost). Another person (wasn't her wedding) told me price per person included the couple's dance lessons and that definitely doesn't seem right.
I and the above two people are from the East coast. It is very common on the East coast for people to cover their plate/per person cost (please don't make this discussion about how it is not right for people to cover their plate/per person cost).
I was wondering what does price per person mean to you and what region are you from? I am curious to see if different regions have different definitions especially since the covering the cost of your meal is very common on the East coast but unheard of in the Midwest as seen in a previous discussion.
