What do you guys think? I want to add a one shoulder to my dress. . .

I had my bridesmaid take a pic of me in my dress and I drew in a one shoulder strap in paint (lol) because I really really want the seamstress to add one on and wanted to see what it would look like. I think it would look cute! What do you guys think? cute right? It could work?!...

I think it can work. If this is what you feel with make the dress "yours" then go for it. If you are happy with the quote to do the alterations go for it, and if you want to snap it off you can. I think it will work, and that was before you posted the "inspiration" image.

@Hayley C., Thank you for the positive words. I appreciate it. I can't loose, its only $45 for her to add it and its detachable so I am going for it lol Smiley smile I do feel like that will make the dress mine. I will love it that much more.

I absolutely love the idea. I'm not a fan of strapless dresses, and I think the strap really adds an elegant flair to it. Also, as a side note, what are you wearing for "support"? I could really use a lift like that!

@L. Turtle, I have nothing on under there! I am bare!!! My boobs are massive and this dress has some serious inside boning and structuring to it. Its nuts lol. Brides by demetrios dress madness! The girls are all in your face like HELLO I AM HERE! lol. But my boobs are pretty much all I have LMAO. Thanks Turtle Smiley smile

I agree with alot of the ladies on here. It looks akward to me. When I see one shoulder dresses they are usually flowy and seem to fit into a more grecian feel(kinda like the one you posted. I think if you add a strap it will be obvious that it didn't come that way. But whatever floats your boat Smiley smile it's your wedding!

@ L. Turtle, thank you he knows lol. but believe me you don't want these, can you say back issues!!!!!!!!! :-)

@Ayla H, yeah most of the ladies here think its a bad idea but I am willing to risk it lol, its going to be detachable so no biggie, if it looks silly I will take it off Smiley smile My FMIL and Mother won't let me look crazy.

I think it's beautiful by itself but if it were mine and I wanted to add a strap, I'd do something like this...

I like it as it is right now, but if a "one strap" is your thing, then I think you're right that you'll regret it later if you don't have it. It will definitely be unique. Only you can know if that "unique" is a good thing or bad.
