So I never thought that a limo would be one of the hardest things to book for our wedding. I cant exactly wrap my head around what exactly its for and what I should be doing. So I never thought that a limo would be one of the hardest things to book for our wedding. I cant exactly wrap my head around what exactly its for and what I should be doing. There is a 4 hour minimum for wedding limos in my area (Chicago). My ceremony is at 3:30 and my reception is at 6:30. Do I book the limo for 2:30 so it will pick me and the girls up at my house then take us to the ceremony - then go pick up the boys and bring them to the ceremony - then wait until the ceremony is done and then take all of us to the reception and stop along the way for pictures? I know this is probably common sense but Let me know what kind of ideas you have.

We are having a limo. It'll pick myself, bridesmaids and my parents up from my parents house and drive us to the church. After the ceremony it'll drive the whole wedding party around for pictures and then to the reception venue. At the end of the night, we give them 1/2 hr. notice and the limo will come pick FH and I up and drive us to our hotel. Along with all the driving, the limo will have some decorations on it in our colours and we can add booze and food if we want it.

Instead of a limo, a car service with a Lincoln Town Car can be a wonderful ride to pick up the bride, take her to the church (If she is not getting dressed there, or at her venue) and then take the bride and groom to the reception. This would be less than a limo, and still have a lot of class.

Our venue and reception is at the same place... no need for one.
