What do I do?? People aren't RSVPing!

My respond by date is June 1st... only 11 days away. And I still have 233 people who haven't responded!!! What should I do? I REALLY do not want to have to call THAT many people! And what kills me is that basically ALL of my FH's family still hasn't responded.

*sending Fins a napkin to wipe up the coffee* Sorry hon.

I agree, Casey. These people are adults and I don't feel like I should have to hunt anyone down for an answer. But then again, I still have 358 days til the wedding, and I might change my mind by then and be one of those people who hunts everyone down.

I know it's snotty but I don't really wait on anything. If people are going to take a long time to respond to such an important occasion, then they aren't taking seriously. Their loss!! None of you girls should be dealing with it!

Dont stress too much. My family literally waits until the day after last minute for any occasion. Then they call to tell me they sent the RVSP. I know my family well, I already have a rough head count even thought my invitations havent even gone out yet. A lot of people contacted me after I sent out the STD's. My aunt and uncle in England even sent me a "With Regrets" card to decline, Im still going to send them an invite though. Like the others I say wait and then start emailing, calling, etc. You can also send out an e-vite reminder. For those on FB you can set up an event and have them RSVP that way.

I guess just wait until the day before or the day of & then call the remaining guest.

My guess is that since you wedding is on July 4th weekend, the folks that you invited that are not that close are deciding on either your wedding or other plans for the holiday weekend. July 4th is the biggest vacation weekend of the year.

I love your idea Laura! Makes me sound less like a nagging B*t*H. Although I do really seem to like Shannon's approach. Smiley winking lol

I know we shouldn't have but we kinda pestered people - local family and friends and kept reminding them. In the end there were maybe 4 that I had to call.
