I think if you already have the shoes you know you'll be wearing or any hair or jewelry accessories you already have, that would be nice to bring to your appointment just to see everything altogether. this is, if you have any of those already.

Hello.. you definitely want to bring shoes, typically the height you think you’ll wear on your wedding day (if you don’t have your wedding shoes picked out already), and also proper under garments, something similar to what you may want to wear for your big day. You can also bring some pictures of idea dress types you like and may want to try on

I only went w my matron of honor and mother, so maybe 2-3 people ? You want others opinions indeed, but you don’t need too many trying to make the decision for you, and also clouding your own decision making.
    Good luck!

For my appointment I invited my mom, sister, two close friends, and my fiances mom and sister. Smiley shame I wore clothes that were easy to change out of!

I brought my sis and my best friend. (Mom has passed). I knew they would be honest and also excited to be there. I trust them and knew it would be a great experience with them.

For my appointment I invited my mom, sister and her two young daughters (who are our flower girls). I didn't bring any accessories because I think it's easier to match accessories, like jewelry and a veil to your dress, not the other way around. The ladies at the boutique helped me order the right length dress based off me telling them I'll be wearing flats. I wore nude-ish colored boyshort panties, a nude strapless bra and comfortable clothes. I won't be wearing a bra with my dress since I'll have cups sewn in.

Hey! I brought my sister and my mom to the first appointment. I didn't want it to be overwhelming or have too many people's opinions to take account for. I fell in love with and bought the second dress I tried on. When my dress came in, I called all of my bridesmaids & FMIL to come for the first fitting. It worked out amazing and they all loved it.

I would go into the appointment with an idea of what you like but remember to have an open mind. Being stuck on one look could hinder more than help you.

Bring shoes similar to what you might want to wear on your wedding day. I am going barefoot during my ceremony on the beach & flip fops during the reception. So I just wore my socks.

Prepare yourself for the stylist will be in the room with you while you try dresses on. They are very helpful but it can be a little uncomfortable.

David's Bridal had a Bustier and a slip for me to use borrow. I thought it was amazing because I didn't know what I was going to need.

Make sure you go out and look at yourself in each dress you try on. I had my sister take photos of me in all of them.

It was such a fun day with my mom and sister. We bonded on so many levels. I really enjoyed it and I will never forget the look on my moms face when I walked out in my dress.

When I went I had my mom and my maid of honor helping me find a dress. They gave little to no help or I wasn’t listening. I made sure I picked the one I liked.

I wore clothes I could easily remove. Nothing fancy.
When I picked my dress it came in I tried with spanx and my shoes.
If you have shoes and spanx to try with the dresses then bring them. Don’t really matter to much dresses are kind of big so it look totally different.
Extra info - When I went to a DB I had a horrible time. One lady for 4 women I got pretty ignored. Then I went to a small place 3 towns over they had hundreds of dresses and when they helped you into the dress they clipped several clips so you can see how they dress will look on your body which I liked a lot.
