What Decorations did you have?

We had all of the things you mentioned plus uplighting, ceiling lighting, draping behind our sweetheart table, a few additional signs, and various flowers. The best thing we did was ordered some extra loose flowers from our florist and brought vases from home. Our coordinator put flowers wherever there was an empty spot that looked like it needed something. It worked out great for us.

There are a lot of little details you can do, but try not to overwhelm yourself! If your space is naturally beautiful, you may not need that much. Looking at pictures from past weddings in your space is also helpful if you're able to do that.

I’m gonna do double table cloths on the tables (one white, one in our colors). I’m also planning on having 3 more boxes besides the one for cards, one for marriage advice, one for date ideas, and one for recipes (I’m a sucker for new recipes).

How do you know people will come with recipes prepared?
I don't know many people who memorise their recipes

The only other things I did for decor were bunting banners

I have a binder that I’m placing photos of all my decor ideas in and I plan to take pictures of the venue to plan exactly what I want and where so there’s no confusion or empty spots.
