What colors can go together

From a color theory perspective orange and blue go together because they're on opposite sides of the color wheel from each other. I would just say you need to be careful of the shades you choose or you might end up looking like a sports team.

Orange blue but then I think of UF gators which could be a cute sports theme. Maybe your bridesmaids dresses could be a light purple?

Look up sunset wedding colors or pinterest those colors you stated, there's lots of ideas. pick one main color and then you can easily add a bunch of different accents.

If you do go with orange and blue ... I’d go with a navy blue and a very light orange

Shades of orange and purple go together! We almost did royal purple and orange, but ended up not because it seemed more fallish than our spring wedding. Almost had FH convinced to do lavender and peach but he decided "it looks like Easter" Well dear, our wedding is 2 weeks after Easter! LOL

My best friend did a deep purple and burnt orange color and they went very well together. We actually figured that out by going to David’s Bridal and using their swatches for dress colors. Her consultant recommended doing it because she wasn’t sure of her colors yet.

Throw a lot of green in with them and it would look really nice. All are kinda hot colors that's why I suggested lots of green.

I’ve seen orange and navy before as well as orange and royal blue together. Very strong color scheme and pretty. You can add accents of pinks and purples to make everything else blend too.

I agree. I’d be careful with orange and blue looking too much like a sporting event. Light orange and dark blue would be pretty. A very bright orange with hot pink and teal would be pretty too. Bright orange could do with a light blue as well. But it depends where you’re from. I’m from Chicago so navy and orange would look like a bears game, but if you’re from a town that isn’t into sports navy would look great with orange, I would still gone the orange down a bit though, like a sorbet orange
