    No:
White/winter white, cream/beige or any other version of "white", not even if it's mixed with patterns or other colors,
Blue: As you are not part of the wedding party,Red: it's said that a person wearing red signifies you've slept with the Groom. While technically you have, it would be in poor taste to acknowledge that at their wedding.

I would recommend avoiding any hue of red to avoid any unwanted issues at the wedding. What about wearing a white/cream colored dress with a light blue shawl? Or even a blue crystal necklace?

Wearing all-white is generally best to avoid. Just find an outfit suitable for the venue. It does not have to avoid any colors or have any specific color unless you are asked to follow a theme. At minimal you just need to be a step up from casual outfits. Maybe find something of a work style outfit or even check for pictures from the venue to see how you might follow their desired image.

No red, no white, no black (can look funeral/mourning ish)!
Since it's a late spring/early summer wedding, look for pastels, maybe floral prints, things like that. There's millions of colors so it won't be hard to find something. I'd avoid blue (especially navy) because that may be the bridesmaid colors.

Since the wedding color is blue, wearing something in a similar shade of blue (like navy, royal blue, or sky blue) is often a safe and respectful choice—it shows you're aligning with the event's theme without trying to stand out too much.

Here are a few general tips for wedding guest attire:

    • Avoid white or ivory, since those colors are traditionally reserved for the bride.

    • Steer clear of overly flashy or revealing outfits, especially if the wedding is formal or in a religious setting.

    • If you're unsure about formality, a knee-length or midi-length dress in blue with nice accessories is a great starting point.

    • If it’s an outdoor or beach wedding, you could go lighter and flowy; for a formal evening wedding, lean toward darker or more structured fabrics.

    Hope this helps! Smiley heart
