What will your bridesmaids be carrying down the aisle? Smaller bouquets, laterns, single flower, floral hoops, or what other creative things are you guys thinking?

My daughter was my MOH (and only member of my bridal party) and she carried a smaller version of my bouquet.

Smaller bouquets with a charm from me attached to them. I'm giving the charms to my florist in advance so she can attach them to bouquets so I can give them to each person and explain the charm to them. It's me being sentimental for once lol.

Aww that sounds very sweet. The only charm I was thinking of doing was one for my own bouquet with a picture of my great grandparents and great aunt since they so dear to me.

I love the idea of hoops and toying with lanterns. I am going to start playing with hoops soon. I know one of the BMs has expressed loving this idea to hang on her wall. My sister mentioned how this will be her first time being a BM so maybe she will too. (We are using sola wood flowers so I can start crafting early)

My girls carried a single sunflower with a bit of greenery. They looked awesome against their purple dresses.

I'm thinking about having them carry a small lantern with a candle (fake) and flowers. We are having ours in the winter and it will be dark outside. Our venue has this giant windows and I'm imagining the lights dimmed down during the ceremony so the lights in the lanterns stand out. Something like this picture!

I'm leaning toward a single flower as well, with either a ribbon tied around it or some greenery.

This is obviously NOT for everybody...but I don't really care about bouquets. They are so fabulous, but I was a wedding coordinator in my 20's and I've just seen allll these beautiful bouquets and now I'm kinda numb to them? And I am also numb to the traditional "lineup" photos with bridesmaids and brides in the middle--even though they're gorgeous! And bouquets look really nice in those photos, but I'm not doing them.

So I'm sending the bridesmaids down the aisle with an icy-cold, half-full (so no spills) glass of champagne in one hand, and the groomsmen down the ice with an icy-cold, half-full glass of scotch. Then they'll still have something to do with their hands while they stand up there for 15 minutes, plus something to sip on.

Again, not for everyone and may not be as creative as the lovely options you mentioned above, but posting in case this works for someone else--as brides we should definitely spend our money on the stuff we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, and feel free to buck tradition when we feel neutral about something. Smiley smile Hope you stumble on a FABULOUS idea from one of these brilliant brides, and congrats on your upcoming wedding!

I had my girls carrying smaller Sola Wood Flower boquets from Etsy. Their dresses were burgundy so i had them carrying Navy, blush and ivory flowers.

As a bridesmaid, i helped attached a few flowers to hoops.

my bridesmaids are carrying "Beautiful in Blue" bouquets that I found at a local flower shop.

They're carrying petite bouquets, like these, but with burgundy dahlias. I think my florist is charging me $35 each, I have 7 bridesmaids

I'm having a super hard time with this as well, especially since I'm leaning towards not having a boquet myself since I'm having both my biological and step dad walk me down the aisle. I'm loving the idea of sending them down with drinks though!!

This will be ours but we still plan on utilizing them during reception. In front of the sweetheart table along with my bouquet that will be draping the floor

I was debating whether or not to have a bouquet too, then I thought I could wear a corsage instead. I'm also looking at floral crowns.

Those are gorgeous! Did you make them or did you have them made? If you made them, where did you get the flowers?

Kind of half and half! All flowers came from Hobby Lobby. The bridesmaids bouquets started as just greenery boquets, so I added some flowers to them and wrapped all the stems with ribbon. The floral hoops had greenery and white flowers already so I added the peach flowers and blue ribbon to it! My bouquet, the one in the case, I made completely myself with various flower stems from Hobby lobby and more ribbon!
