What are you dreading having to do?

I have a month until I need to send out invitations and I just have no desire to even start addressing them. What are you dreading having to do - anything and everything wedding related?

    This sounds terrible.

    Thank you cards.

I really dread writing all the individual thank you's and the time restraints you have to get them finished. We both work full time (and let's be honest on who is going to be writing them out) and even after the wedding will be busy. I'm going to try and come up with a system of doing 10-15 at a time and sending them out in batches. This is literally over a year away and I'm already feeling pain in my hands from all the writing.

I am pretty adamant about not doing anything that I would dread, that is not absolutely necessary. Hence, sending & addressing physical invitations is one of those things that I will not be doing 😆 We are sending everything digitally instead, which I’m very happy about (no addressing, no mailing, no stamps, no paper waste, no tracking paper RSVPs)!
Wedding planning should be fun (or why do it). So I’m not settling for anything less 😊

I guess the only thing I’m dreading is all of the personal pre-prep on the day of the wedding… Having my hair & makeup done, getting dressed, taking any pre-photos, etc. It just takes so long while FH’s prep is a snap and he mainly gets to chill (which I’d rather do too). I just want to walk down the aisle, marry my love and enjoy the reception.

Mine is on 6/1 and so far I’m 0 for 28 invited 🤣 My mom told me not to take it personally, but how can I not?!

Just thought about the fact that I’m also dreading the idea of my friends attempting to give me a shower. They mentioned it, but I expressed that do not want a shower at all. Hence one of the many reasons I did not select to have a bridal party. If anything, I just want to go to the spa, get a massage/facial, talk & relax in a cabana by the pool.

I was dreading addressing invitations until I decided to do printed labels. I used Avery Labels Template and it was so easy to address our invites. I also used Avery Escort Template to do our escort cards and it was so simple and easy.

Here's what we did for our registry because we also have everything we need:

"We don't actually have a registry! We have each other and that's all we need. However, if you find something that just screams Joseph and Dachelle, we won't stop you from buying it : ).

What is most important to us are the experiences we share in our life together. So if you prefer to slip a little somethin somethin ; ) in the card, we would be forever grateful that you are helping us to experience adventure together in this beautiful life ahead of us. And as a thank you, we'll send you pictures of the memories that you have helped create!"

For all of you with large guest lists....like myself.....Minted offers free address printing for invites! I also have my wedding website through them which allows them to RSVP online with how many are coming. This was a HUGE help for me!!

Same! Getting together all the addresses for the invites and sending them out. Then getting the RSVPs and finalizing the seating chart..

I'm dreading having to track down the people who don't RSVP, so I can give an accurate head count to my venue/caterer.

Another vote for the Avery labels. It was actually the hardest to figure out the mail merge, but we got some help on that.

I'm also dreading having to track down RSVPs, especially for family members who don't think they have to do so because I "know" they're coming.

Selecting a venue is what I dread most. Every place I like is out of my budget.
