What are you asking your bridesmaids to pay for?

Just curious! Are you footing the bill for everything, or having them pay for things on their own? I think I may have them pay for their dress/hair/makeup/shoes. I will pay for their bouquets, mani-pedis, and probably give jewelry sets as part of their gift to wear during the day.

I'm paying for hair/makeup and their bouquets. MOH and MOB paid for their own dresses.

I didn't make my BMs buy dresses or have their hair/makeup done, so they paid for all that. I did pay for bouquets (do some people seriously not pay for those?!).

They are paying for dress, shoes and jewelry. I am let them pick their dress, jewelry and shoes and i just let them know color and what I am going for. Everything is a group decision but I have the final say.

My plan is as a gift is to either surprise them with a make-up artist or take them each on a make-up shopping trip and pay for the make-up want. I am a make-up geek so its very me. I also plan on a the gift giving them a personalized purse of day bag/purse with everything they would need for the day Smiley smile

I bought their dress and shoes and paying for hair and makeup. I just asked for $100 donation towards it all from each of them.

Their dress and if they want to go get their nails done with me the day of. They choose if they want to pay for hair or new shoes. I'm buying them bracelets and not sure what else.

They'll buy they dress and shoes. Hair? Make up, jewelry, and bouquets (of course) will be on us. They'll also get a nice gift from us.

My girls are paying for their own shoes (I just picked a color - they can wear whatever they want) and their hotel room for the weekend. Since I picked out their dresses and am asking them to get their hair done, I'm paying for those.

I'm not sure how the bachelorette party and shower are going to pan out - but we'll probably just split everything equally.

I am paying for their hair, makeup, and nails. Plus their jewelry, which was part of their "Will you be my Bridesmaid/MOH" request.

They are paying for: dress, shoes, and alterations. I think they are throwing me a shower and bachelorette, but that's their decision.

They paid for dresses ($75) and shoes - what ever they want. I will pay for hair and mu. I will probably cover mani-pedi the day before. I also bought them a earring/necklace set. But I only have 2, so it won't be a huge expense for me.

They will pay for their dresses and if they need new shoes. Im not asking them for anything else but told them they are more than welcome to use my hair and makeup artists if they want.

Their dresses, if they need new shoes/jewelry, and for their hair and makeup if they want to have it professionally done. I've been in quite a few weddings (and a few of them were my bridesmaids' weddings) and I've always paid for my own dress, shoes, accessories, and hair/makeup.

I guess they might be contributing to the shower in some way, though I'm pretty sure my mom has the finances of that covered, and they might be paying something for a bachelorette party, but I'm not asking them to do either of those things.

Their dresses. I don't care what shoes they wear. They can use what they currently have or buy new ones if they want to. I'm paying for their hair and make up.

It's a little tricky to ask them to pay for their hair and make up. Are you ok with them opting out and doing it themselves if it's too much for them?

They were required to pay for their dress and alterations. They could wear any black shoes and jewelry they wanted.

I did not require them to come to the shower or bachelorette party (none came to either event-my girls were either very pregnant or lived several states away).

Weekend of the wedding, they were provided with a free place to stay with all meals and drinks included.

Overall, I don't think anyone spent over $150 for my wedding except my MOH-she had to buy a plane ticket.

    Things they paid for

-Dress (which they had final say on)

-Shoes (could pick whatever they wanted or use what they had)

-Hair (any style they wanted, 2 had it done and the other one did it herself)

-Makeup (all three did it themselves)

-Hotel expenses (all three were family so it wasn't any issue as they bunked with their Mom's)

Their dress and some costs of the Bachelorette party. For shoes, I told them to just wear black shoes, so I hope most of them already own formal black shoes. If not, they'll have to buy a pair.

They are paying for their dresses and if they don't have a pair of silver shoes they will have to buy those too.

I bought necklaces for them and they can pick any other accessories within reason.

I'm paying for their hair and makeup and already bought their bouquets.

As far as I know there are no parties for me that they are plannig.

They will be paying for the material for their dresses. (My mother and I are both accomplished seamstresses and will be making the BM dresses.) If they want new shoes, they'll pay for those. If they choose to do something for bachelorette party/bridal shower, they'll pay for that as well, but it's not required.

I'll be covering the hair, nails, maybe makeup if we decide to go with a pro, and, of course, labor and alterations for the dresses. Smiley smile

I don't think my girls are going to have to spend too much to be in the wedding, which is exactly the way I want it.
