Luckily, I'm still working in my office during regular business hours (keeping our distance in our offices, no walk-ins, and being sanitary) but FH is laid off and his trade school is temporarily closed because of the Strip is closed here in Vegas. He is bored at home with our dog, Simba, photo below! He's playing Madden (traded Tom Brady to the Bucs to start practicing for next year Smiley xd ).

My FH and I are both lucky that we’re able to work from home, so we’ve been focusing on work. I’m too afraid to focus on our June wedding because we don’t know if we will have to postpone. Our venue told us to wait until a month before our wedding to decide whether to postpone. We are in the process of buying a house, so to take my mind off the wedding stress, I’ve been focusing on how I want to decorate and upgrade our house once we move in. It’s been helpful so far!

We were getting a head start in planning our 2021 wedding, but we are worried about booking a venue with everything going on.

I made a prototype for my centerpieces! It took maybe 20 minutes, and I plan to settle on a tablecloth color and scheme by the end of the outbreak. (Likely gonna be champagne and velvet)

Right?!! I made a thread asking if I should post pone my 2021 wedding and people jumped down my throat for "panicking" but like if potential vendors are out, it seems like we're losing vital planning time

I worry about venues/vendors going bankrupt. Our date we wanted isn't till April/June 2021 but we are still worried. I feel you!

Mine is 4-25-21 and I'm so worried too! My venue is a yoga studio, so I think it has a strong enough base to keep afloat, but what if is the wrong question rn. One thing keeping me sane is remembering the history of weddings and how people have committed themselves to one another in far worse places, and they still loved each other anyway. Also this could bring on new trends! I really can't wait to see how other brides adapt to the inevitable changes, economically and otherwise.

Well said. We aren’t the first to get married in hard times and we won’t be the last.

Thank you both for continuing to work! Truck drivers are who is going to keep the world going right now and medical manufacturing is crucial. I work in food distribution so I will be working as long as I can to make sure there is food available. Thank you both and congrats on the engagement.

Your dog is literally the cutest! Yesterday was my last day at work, we’ll be closed for 2 weeks. FH is still working, but works long 12 hr shifts. We started watching scandal over from season 1 and have been doing home workouts & finding creative meals to cook together. We usually have weekly coffee/Barnes & Noble dates, hate that we can’t do that right now. During the hours he’s at work I’ll be using my time to study. We’re getting married in 2021 so I put off planning for now.

What are you and your Soon-to-be Spouse Doing to Keep Busy? 1

I have two kids and I am a stay at home mom so I have now become the teacher. My days are very busy. FH is a college professor for Computer Science so they have moved all of his classes online so he is working from home. Our wedding is in October so I was at a stand still in planning as I am up to date with everything so far.

I also have 2 cats, a tortoise and fish so my big family keeps me busy. I am not complaining though. I love taking care of everyone and being able to also take care of both sets of our parents and keep them safe and inside makes me happy!!
