What are y’all doing for the Honeymoon?

We’re getting married in August 2022 and will hopefully be able to go on our honeymoon sometime that fall. We want to go to Bora Bora so if we still can’t safely go by that time, then I think we’ll wait til COVID is over!

We are talking about going to Disneyland. My fiancé and I are big nerds, so we really want to go to Galaxy’s Edge. We’re also planning a trip to Warner Bros. Studios and also Universal.

We are doing St. Lucia but decided to wait until restrictions are lifted. We will do a mini moon for a few days, probably Florida or maybe Hilton Head or Charleston. Such a tough decision to know what decision to make.

We were suppose to go on a 7 day cruise at the end of July & while I'm confident cruising will restart, FH didn't want to deal with potential testing or getting a vaccine (not antivax, just too much to deal with during that time) so we cancelled (plan on rebooking for next April though). Instead we'll rent a car & do a mini road trip thing with going to Vegas for 4 days then driving to another town to dine where we had our first date. After that we'll head to Long Beach & stay in the area. Each place means something to us so we thought this was the perfect alternative.

We are hoping to go on a weekend away to San Diego.

We wanted to go to an island for an all inclusive honeymoon but with covid we’re scared to book any flights out of the country. We’ve had so many friends honeymoon plans get cancelled last minute this summer and didn’t want that disappointment. Staying in the country seemed safest so instead we’ve decided on a beautiful resort on Florida Gulf coast and splurged on the room/view. We’re planning to take our dream honeymoon for an anniversary once covid is no longer a concern. Bets of luck with your planning!

We had to cancel our HM in Japan (and wedding) last year - and rescheduled everything to this year... definitely looks like travel to Japan is unlikely at all in 2021. So now I have built out alternate trip itineraries for: Hawaii (Big Island and Oahu), road trip from San Francisco -> Las Vegas (also a big maybe, since a lot of CA will probably still be closed), Florida, or a road-trip starting from home (Colorado) up to Seattle and back.

We’re thinking Australia for our honeymoon! Neither of us have been. Our wedding is Sept. 3, 2022 so we’re really hoping covid is a thing of the past by then 🙏🤞

I would've gone to Alaska for the Aurora Borealis but due to the pandemic and money being tight, it's a no. We're just doing a getaway to a Spa Resort about an hour from our home.

Yes! the OBX are amazing and my favorite beach destinations. I've been to Nags Head, Cape Hatteras, Ocracoke and Kitty Hawk. I want to visit them all

I booked the "early saver" rate, so I had until next month to pay. I just cancelled. Lost $100, but got $50 to use onboard before February 2023. We're hoping to take the cruise for our anniversary! We just booked our flight and a stay at a Bed and Breakfast on Duval St in Key West! SO EXCITED!
