What are some budget friendly signature drinks?

on November 23, 2019 at 7:59 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
I plan on doing a wine and beer reception. 80 bottle of wine for 100 so everyone gets the most 4 glasses. Still determining how many cases of beer. But I’m not too sure of the signature drink. I’m on a tight budget so something that’s simple to make and doesn’t need a lot of added ingredients would be appreciated. I was thinking vodka cranberry but then I thought it may be too simple? What are your thoughts.

I think beer and wine is fine !!
You can always do a spritzer to jazz up a song nature drink so it’s not plain - like you were worried about..

My personal wedding favorite is a kir royale - champagne and crème de cassis or chambord.
If you’re doing your own alcohol, you can find cheaper champagne and I believe crème de cassis is cheaper than chambord, but check it out.
If you’re also doing a champagne toast, not much else to get. However, I don’t think it’s something you can pre-mix.

I love me a good vodka cranberry! I don't think it's too simple.

I agree! A champagne for Bellinis would be a fun option and would go well with wine if people switch to that for dinner.
