I'm trying to budget things out and get quotes for things like catering, drinks, and cake. I know I have to feed my vendors but should I also budget for drinks for them? I'm assuming because they're working they would not be drinking but you never know these days. Plus I should be including them on...

My venue specifically prohibits our vendors from drinking its in our contract. But absolutely feed them

No alcohol but non-alcoholic drinks are OK. Chances are they will just drink water anyways to stay properly hydrated. They are professionals and don't drink on the job.

Our vendors get a vendor meal and all but the DJ will be seated near guests and not off to the corner. Unfortunately the dance floor is in a separate room. DJ still has good sight line of the dining room and the doors are open for him so he's not closed off.

As for extras: I don't think any of our vendors will be eating during cocktail hour, they will be way too busy anyways. As for dessert bar afterwards, they sure can help themselves as I know there will be leftovers, there always is!

Yes, we are including them in our budget for the meal and the cake. No alcohol for them. No drinking on the job, especially if they are serving. But once the reception is over they are more than welcome to have the leftover alcohol if there is any. Lol.
