Beginner May 2021

What a time to throw a wedding!

I am looking for creative solutions to the COVID problem! May 22nd is our date. We have a cheaper venue with indoor and outdoor options but want the ceremony outdoors so we plan to keep it. We also hired a catering and paid a 2,500 deposit and gave the DJ a non refundable deposit.

We are planning on downsizing as much as we have to maybe 40 or 50 people (down from 100). How can I still use my catering and DJ? What should we do to make the ceremony still work?
What are your creative ideas to make your wedding look as close to what you wanted in the first place? My fiancé is no help!

Hi Robin! Can you still use your caterer for your 40 or 50 guests? If you're required to spend more money with them I'd see if you can upgrade meals or add more hors d'oeuvres or dessert options!

You can still use your DJ for reception music and to introduce the dances and toasts. You could use your DJ for ceremony music as well!
