West Coast Honeymoon Ideas

I know many vacation on the Oregon coast, so you can tour around there. Pictures are beautiful. On a camping road trip from WA-MT-OR-CA, I enjoyed Glacier National Park, Crater Lake, the breweries in Bend, OR, and hiking through RedWoods in northern CA. The Columbia River Valley is beautiful, romantic, and has many wineries (though I was there before the fires). The PNW summer weather is moderate, sunny until ;ate in the evening, and the air is fresh. If you go down to San Francisco, I hear October weather is best there. Enjoy!

Big Sur, Santa Barbara, Sonoma / Napa

Come to San Diego! Although it’s pretty much always sunny and beautiful, May can be iffy sometimes and a lil gray. But still fab!

Oregon is such an amazing place! Cannon Beach would make an awesome honeymoon. I got married in Glacier National park and can’t say enough good things about it. Took my breath away! Washington state is on my bucket list too. Banff looks stunning as well but might not be open to the US.


Sam Francisco/Napa Valley is wonderful too if you have a decent budget. Big Sur also looks amazing for a honeymoon. Good luck picking!! I’m from the Midwest too.

Lake Tahoe is beautiful

Not sure your time of year but the San Juan islands off of Washington are beautiful in the summer. San Diego, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, would be great in the winter (if you don’t want to do cold weather stuff)

I echo Santa Barbara. It really is our favorite place in California. You're 15 minutes from the beach and the mountains in any direction. There is plenty of nightlife, wineries, amazing food, local artists, historic buildings and hotels.

I think places like San Diego, Big Sur, Napa, Lake Tahoe etc are all great ideas for your honeymoon on the west coast.
