Welcome Bag Ideas!

Kersten, on September 29, 2019 at 9:21 PM Posted in Planning 1 10
Hello! Give me your best ideas of what to fill my welcome bags! We are getting married about 1.5-2 hours away from our home! We already are going to include a map and visitor guide for the surrounding area! What are other great ideas??? If any are local to Wisconsin it would be of extra value! Thank you!!

Maybe some water bottles, gum/mints, or hand sanitizer!

As a DW guest a few times, water and a few local snacks are appreciated most (ie nuts, local cookies, trail mix, etc).

    My welcome boxes included:

    - caramel popcorn

    - chili lime peanuts

    - cookies

    - granola bars

    - ponytail holders

    - chapstick

    - makeup remover wipes

    - 2 bottles of water

    - a hangover kit that included Advil, Emergen-C, Shout wipes, bandaids, mouthwash, mints and a granola bar.

The boxes were placed in each guest's room before arrival along with an itinerary, a card addressed specifically to that guest and a bottle of wine.

We put a couple mini bottles of water, 2 packages of granola bars, chocolate covered pretzels, tylenol, fireball shooter, and my mom is making cookies with our theme! We also included a info card with reminder of the ceremony time, breakfast for the next day, etc.

We are including 2 bottles of water, 2 packs each of Advil, Advil allergy, TUMS, a bag of local chips, a can of local soda, a bag of local candy, 2 cookies that I'm baking, a small bottle of bourbon (Kentucky wedding), a personalized door hanger, and a welcome letter. The welcome letter has the weekend itinerary on the back and a QR code that goes to our website. Our website has local things to do along with all the wedding info.
