All great ideas Kirsten!!! I'm trying; it's hard being home everyday when I'm used to hitting the ground running, working all day and not thinking about food. Going for a walk here in a few... maybe a start to something good Smiley smile Thank you and congratulations on your big day!

My wedding is 10/3/20 (hopefully) picked blue from the start. Looks very nice on my copper colored pony..I also have my 40th birthday on 10/10 and have always associated more autumnal colors with that day..I did want some differentiation between the two days in my head..here It's really more like last summer anyway

Running on my elliptical, yoga for toning, eating healthier and less frequently (aka less snacks lol).
I’m down 10 lbs, I would still love to lose 10-15 before the wedding.

September 2020 bride! I tried my dress on last month and it wouldn't zip. I got the lose it app and I love it! I was able to put in my age, height, current weight, and goal weight. Then it lets you decide how many pounds per week you want to lose (mine is set for 1.5lbs per week) and it sets you a calorie total. After you track for 7 days it will start updating you on when you should reach your goal weight. My finace and I are doing it together and it have been great! I've already lost 9 pounds in about 3 weeks

Be in a calorie deficit. That's the only way to lose weight. I counted my macros and logged my food. I only ate 1500 calories a day. About 130g of protein, 140 grams of carbs, and 30g of fat. The carbs and fat can be more or less, I just always made sure I had my protein. I would do about 4 hours of cardio a week, (mix it up how you like) and would lift for about 30 minutes everyday.

I lost about 25lbs for my wedding, and I was in the best shape of my life. I've still continued it a year later. Do something you can maintain so you don't gain all your weight back after. Smiley smile Good luck

My wedding is also October 2020.

I downloaded the Peloton app. It's free right now and has good workouts. I follow a few people on instagram for at home work outs as well.

Most importantly, I keep moving. I walk the dogs, or walk alone, or jog/run. I even bought a bicycle just to keep moving. I was going to the gym and still have the membership (planet fitness) and they have at home workouts on their app as well.

Motivation for me is a struggle, but once you get going, keep it up!

Also, drinking water, minimizing snacking during the day (which is hard because of the quarantine) and eating healthy!

When I've wanted to lose weight in the past, I stuck to a 1200 calorie diet, walked/ran daily, and weighed myself every morning. Also important not to give up if you fall of the wagon. Just get right back on!

Small - social distancing HITT classes with Orange theory. They also have free videos online via YouTube that were provided during quarantine. That helps!

Tons of water Smiley smile challenge for me but I am getting it done and at least 5 minutes out of the day for you to just breathe!!! Stress plays a role when it comes to our diet as well.
Eat real food! Not air Smiley smile feed your body, brain and some time to relax. You got this! It's a struggle for me too you are not alone

Highly recommend Chloe Ting workouts. Check her website for her workout challenges. Stress eating got me good but got on track eating healthier and working out right now for my October wedding.
