Week of help- spray tan, nails, lashes

Adela, on December 8, 2021 at 5:21 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 15
Ok, so my wedding is in 9 days!!! I’m having trouble figuring out what order I should have my spray tan, lashes, nails and pedi done. I don’t want to ruin all that work by the wrong order and messing it up.
Any advise would be helpful! I swear I already have a stress ulcer!!!

Do your spray tan last. You don’t want it soaking off when they are doing your finger/toe nails!

Do you think the spray tan will mess up the lashes?

Nope, not at all. Actually, getting the spray tan before the lashes could mess them up, because a lot of the tanning solutions contain oils which could prevent the lashes from adhering properly.

I guess I should clarify… you are talking about lash extensions, correct?

    Yes extensions.
My lash tech was saying do the tan then come do the lashes but that doesn’t seem right to me. I’m on the verge of just saying forget the lashes

I had lash extensions for quite awhile, and got many, many spray tans after having them done and never had any issues. My lash tech told me not to get a spray tan in the days leading up to getting lashes because of potential adhesive problems. But even beyond that, they are going to be touching your face and laying protective shield things on it for extended amounts of time- I would be worried it would mess up your spray tan. Plus, with so many places requiring facemasks, I would be worried about that messing up your tan before the wedding also. For me, spray tans always look their best right after they’re done, so I plan to get mine done as close to the wedding as possible.

I’m getting married on January 1st and was struggling with this too. I’m getting my nails, lashes, then a spray tan.

We might be wedding twins! December 18th? While I’m not tanning, I would suggest lashes and nails BEFORE your spray tan. If you’re getting married on Saturday, I would suggest getting nails done on Wednesday and then spray tanning on Thursday. For lashes, I’d suggest going at the beginning of the week. I believe you need a fill around the 2-3 week mark, which would leave your lashes looking beautiful on the wedding day! Good luck! No stress ☺️

    We are wedding twins!! Congratulations!
I’m actually considering not even doing lashes and just have the makeup artist do strip lashes. It will be one less thing to worry about.

The spray tan won't mess anything up as far as your lashes. I would do the clear solution that turns darker-it ensures you don't end up as orange. Also, do it 2-3 days before the event.

Another option is the St Tropez line which you can do at home (they have gradual, regular, and "express" options), most are on sale on Amazon now. I bought these because I've used them before and they work, and we are going on a 14 day honeymoon right after the wedding and I wanted to make sure my color would last.
