Wedge Shoes with Dress? More information added (12:20 PM)

Alicia, on April 23, 2013 at 5:12 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13

Hey Ladies. I need your opinions. My wedding is outdoor, so I was thinking of wearing these shoes with my wedding dress. My dress is white and kind of flowy. I have horrible feet as I have injured them a lot, so I wearing heels will only make me uncomfortable. What do you think? Do you think it's ok to wear these. My colors for the wedding are red, black and white, since I'm wearing, I figured I could accent with the red shoes. Give me your opinions please!!

I think they would be comfortable. You mentioned your wedding is outside so, is it a casual affair? I feel that these are pretty informal, casual. But, if that is the type of wedding you are having than they are perfect!

I love the idea of red wedges! However, I think that the tan roping may clash with a white gown DSW has some more formal looking ones, but if you love the ones that you posted, then for for them! :-) It's your day!:

I'm doing wedges with my dress also for an outside wedding. Those may be a little too casual look depending on your dress and the overall event. I had a really hard time finding wedges dressy enough as most are more similar to the ones you posted but eventually had luck with zappos, Here's mine: http://www.zappos.com/nine-west-mymoon-navy-nubuck

I really like the wedges, but the braided bottom might be a littel casual... do you have a picture of your dress?

I love the red wedges, however, the braid on the bottom of the wedge may be a bit casual for the dress.

I would look around..maybe a solid color wedge in red would be appropriate.

I agree with @Shannon...take a look at Zappos.com..I have horrible feet..and I have always had luck with Zappos for shoes! Good luck!

I agree they they may be too casual, but wedges are great! Definitely wear something you will feel comfortable in.

Hey ladies, some of you have asked for a picture of my dress. This is my dress. My wedding is very casual. Since I'm having an outdoor wedding in Florida in June, I don't want people or myself to be uncomfortable. My bridesmaids are all wearing wedge shoes with their dresses as well. (It makes them look a little less prom looking, but casual enough for a wedding, while also being comfortable.)

Honest opinion, if it weren't for the roping, I'd really like it. If you could find a wedge that was all one color and fabric, I think it would look fabulous!

I don't think your dress is as casual as the shoes. There are lots of great wedges out there, I'd keep looking.

I personally like the straps on your shoes better though.
