WeddingWire vs The Knot

I started out using both but i hated the forums on the knot. I also liked the WW budget and website options better! I never use theknot anymore. I do use the knot wedding planner though i received as a gift!

I occasionally cross-check the checklist on The Knot. It's a little more granular than the WW one, so it sometimes reminds me of little things I need to do that weren't on my radar.

Yep. My website is on the knot as well. I didn't know about WW when I started creating it.

I read a weird review about the knot this girl had a problem with when he guests RSVP if sent them allll reminders on when to buy a gift . It was tacky and a huge turn off so I deleted the app

I'm the same as you. My wedding website is on The Knot because I thought their templates were better and I could customize it more. But I prefer WW's planning tools and forums.

WW planning tools, and forums. I personally also liked the Knots website better so our website is the Knot. But WW all the way

Echoing PPs - I started with both, but switched completely over to WW after a very short amount of time. WW has everything and more. I actually finally uninstalled The Knot from my phone. It had been sitting there unused forever!

Yes doing the same thing. The knot for website and WW for forums and checklist.

I'm using The Knot for our website and I like their checklist better. I've been going by that and love it. I also used them for searching for vendors. I discovered WW late in the game and just use the forums here

I made my wedding website with the knot but used all my planning tools with weddingwire. Personally that it was more user friendly than the knot. But i loved the knot layouts for website more

I stopped using the Knot when I realized all of the information was just wrong. Venue fees hadn't been updated in years and so they looked way more affordable then they were. Some didn't actually have those dates available, etc. Wedding Wire was referred to me through a friend and so I've been using it ever since!
