WeddingWire vs The Knot

I started out using the Knot and made a WW account further along in my planning. I prefer WW because of the management tools. I found a few vendors through the Knot but I almost never use it now.

ETA: I think the Seating Chart tool was ultimately the clincher for me lol

I started with both but switched everything over to WW. I preferred the website and planning tools here

I have both but I only currently use this one. I didn't even know the knot had forums? I may end up deleting the knot.

I started with the Knot, but switched to WW soon after. I was having a lot of problems adding in my guests, the website was really glitchy multiple days in a row so I gave up and found WW. Glad I did I love this site!

I also started on the knot but it wasn't enough for me. WW has more comprehensive planning tools!

I started with both but WW is much more user friendly. I feel like I have to fight with the knot planning tools to get them to do what I want, whereas WW just lets me do whatever while still giving me helpful suggestions

My website is on the knot as well, but I use WW for everything else. I LOVE the budgeting tools on WW.

I'm using both websites as well! Using wedding wire for budgeting and to do lists. Using the knot for guest list and wedding website! I wish it was all in one. :/

I liked the knot for their website templates as well but it NEVER works in the edit mode so I only use WW for everything now

The forums here are better and more active. I've learned so much! I did find a few vendors on the Knot, but that was before I starting using WW.

The guest list was the big thing for me... the knots was horrible to use.

My WW was on the knot because I liked their templates better and I also used their online RSVP and table planner since it kind of all came together. I didn't think they were amazing tools, but they got the job done. I will always frequent the WW forums over the knot though. Those bitches cray.

Wedding website is a WordPress because we wanted a custom URL and full control.

I use the knot for website, to do list, guest list, etc, and use WW for the forums. Actually, I use both to-do lists because i'm neurotic and like checking off all the lists. I also have one on my fridge.

Same as PP. I joined the Knot first because I knew about it more, but then switched to WW because of all of the helpful tools. And the forums!

I use both. Neither was very useful in finding vendors for me. They only showed ones 2-3 hours away from me.

I like forums here but I like the knot's wedding website and guest list tracker app better
