Wedding Website Not Searchable On Google

My wedding website cannot be found when searching on google. I can share the custom URL with others through facebook, email, etc. Or they can go to wedding wire and search for us by name or what have you but I want our friends to just be able to open google and put in "Kelley Curran Wedding" or "Kelley Curran and Jeremy Becht" and have our website pop up. Often when my other friends got married I would need last minute details about their wedding (like the address as I was already on my way to the venue) and I would just do a quick google search and their website would pop up-I didn't have to remember if they were with THE KNOT or WEDDING WIRE or whatever...I want this to be simple...please help!

Check your settings & make sure that the search engine option is on.

Hi Kelley! If your wedding website is publicly visible and searchable on WeddingWire, then it will also be crawled by search engines like google. We can't control how quickly google will crawl your website, but if happens fairly quickly (around 24 hours) with all WeddingWire sites.

I did notice that your full names aren't included anywhere on your wedding website, so I would definitely add them to increase your searchability! The best place would be in the Website Title (header on the first page of your wedding website). I would also recommend adding your fiance as a user on your account and make sure he confirms his email address!

Hi Lynnie-I followed your instructions and made the updates a couple of days ago and still am not having any success...any advice on what I can do to make our website appear faster/get crawled quicker? I just want people to be able to find it without me having to explicitly share the link with them because even when I share the link I know they will "lose" the shared link email and such so it's easier if they can just search for our names Smiley smile
