Wedding wands

About 4-5 months ago I had went to hobby lobby and found these things called wedding wands (basically ribbon tied to a dowel rode with a bell or two). I was wondering how many others have also thought of this or are doing something else unique for after you walk back down the isle?

I have hand made mine as well, but it's not something common right now which is nice. I just wonder if guests will know what's going on

Can I ask how much time and cost it took you to do? How many did you do? I'm interested and got a cost from someone for 120. I'm concerned that people will be confused and it's not worth for the 90 second picture.

I made mine for probably $10. I did only make 32, but I don't think everyone will be getting one

I LOVE this idea. Again, like others have said, it’s not the most popular thing right now, but that makes it all the more appealing. To make it even more fun, instead of them all being dowel rods, up could attach some ribbons and bells to a glow stick if you are doing a night send off. Or if you have small kids coming and could just give them something to play with, lol. I may steal this idea....

I am making 150. I got all my materials from amazon. 300 yards of ribbon for less than $25. Dowels for less than $40. Bells were less than $10. My grandmother has been asking to help with a task. She cut the 300 yards in a week while watching tv. I know hot gluing will take the most time. But i have three months to go.

We’re doing these! Started making them and they’re not too bad. Total cost will be right around $75 for 180 wands.

I used twine since I am going more rustic, but having a small thin ribbon would work

Hi Breanna!! I love this idea! Wedding wands are super cute and a fun way to get your guests involved after the ceremony.

Will you be using these colors in your decor as well?

So after I showed fh this post we are deciding to do this lol. We did have sparklers planned for our send off but I've been kinda nervous about it because we have alot of kids going. So we are going to do these in our colors, blush and ivory with a gold bell.
