Wedding Venues under $3000

Miracle , on August 16, 2018 at 1:28 PM Posted in Planning 1 28
I’m getting married on June 20,2020. I’m looking for a venue that can do both my ceremony and reception there for under $3000.

It would really depend on what area you live in. Look into local parks or government owned venue buildings for ideas and prices.

What does the $3,000 need to pay for? Just the building? The building, chairs, tables? All inclusive?

Where and for how many guests?

If you're religious, contact your center. We booked our church for the ceremony and reception for $1600.

You're unlikely to find an all inclusive wedding venue for under 3K most places, for 100 people that is like $30pp - which you can find, buts its unlikely to include all food, drink, venue costs, linens ETC.

    Is 3K your total budget?

But when you say all-inclusive, do you also want it to cover the food?

What is your total budget if you don't mind my asking? I'm not in MD, but in Southern NJ Most all inclusive venues are around 80-150pp. I am at a semi-inclusive venue where we get the entire site to ourselves, bridal suite, grooms suite, DOC, three course plated meal, all cocktail hour food, 5 hour open bar, all tables, chairs and linens and its costing us about 105$ pp for 100 people before tax, service charges, and gratuity.

If you have the ability I would up the portion of your venue budget - if you want semi or all inclusive you need to allocate more money toward that since then it covers more. Most people say your venue/food/drink should be 50% of your budget, but its usually more like 60%

I know this is not in Maryland but its close. I'm having my ceremony and reception at Charles town Hollywood casino. Its $500 to rent, comes with a coordinator and centerpieces and food ranges from $25-35 a plate. But you have to find a DJ, officiant, and photographer yourself.

That's a long shot honestly. PG County is pretty expensive (I grew up in Charles county and was working at CSM last year). Your food is likely going to have a service fee so make sure when looking at venues you add 18% to the estimate.

First you say all-inclusive, then just the venue, then food too. What EXACTLY are you looking for? The bar as well? If drinks are to be included there is NO WAY that's going to happen for $30PP.

Many all-inclusives out here include florals and a photographer as well. Mine covers food, bar, and DJ. Prices will vary according to what is covered, but I don't think I've seen ANY that would come close to $3000 for 100 people.

Click the Venues tab above and start searching for venues in your area. But I agree, 3K is going to be tough. I'm in NoVa, and the venue is $5400, plus $100 pp for food and non-alcoholic drinks + service charge. The good news is you've got some time to save.

You should gather some quotes and see what the going rate in your area is. Go through the venue vendor tab here on this site and wedding-spot.com and inquire with the venues. Your guest count is going to be problematic for that price. 3,000 could probably get you a venue to hold both ceremony/reception with tables and chairs. However, this will NOT include food whatsover. You will have to see the options for caterers (food and drink) that particular venue allows, or if they allow anyone. The reception is the most expensive part. Then you can tally up how much it will cost you. I had to do this as well because i had no idea how much things were going to cost, then adjust my budget.

VBRO ! we are having ours at a vacation house we found through VBRO for 4 days ( Thursday-Sunday and having a Saturday wedding) and it is only costing us 1800$ granted that only includes the venue itself but it has proven to be so much cheaper than going with an all-inclusive option, plus i like doing everything myself anyway (:
