Fingers crossed and I am hoping your superstitions are correct! It will be 2 years exactly to the day my fiance proposed as well. And we are getting married at 2pm, but that had more to do with the time zones. My Nan is in New Zealand where it will be 8 am and I am her first grandchild to get married so we are streaming the wedding for her and my other family members who live abroad.

I completely understand, Taylor. I wasn't originally planning on wearing a veil because of the meaning but I was convinced after trying one on when I went dress shopping with my sister. My style tends to be quite Victorian/Edwardian/Vintage inspired so that also contributed to my decision.

Your hair piece is so gorgeous!!! It actually looks like a larger and more ornate version of the pins I have, which are shaped like tiny clusters of leaves and pearls.

View Quoted Comment My Sister-in-law had a similar experience with bugs at her ceremony only it was June in Virginia. Luckily her reception was indoors so we got some relief from the little pests. Your veil looks gorgeous though! I love how well the lace matches your dress.

I love a manilla veil! It suits you so well! I'm actually still undecided on a veil...I just feel weird about how I look with it on. I got mine for $14.99 off Amazon so if I decide to not wear it, it won't be such a loss. I think that when hair and makeup are done for the wedding and the whole final look has come together, that will help make the final decision.

I have a very light pink cathedral length veil I may wear, I also am wearing a wedding haku with my hair down. I was thinking of pinning the veil under my hair but idk. I’m not going to have a hair trial (destination elopement) so sorta have to figure it out beforehand or leave it up to the stylist
