Wedding Veil Help

My dress has a very long train. I attached a picture. Originally I thought I would get a long veil too, but I haven’t been able to find one that exceeds the length of my dress. My dress hasn’t been altered yet so it will get a bit shorter but still. I ordered another veil in my last ditch effort. I attached a photo of that as well. I’m just not sure if it looks okay? I don’t really know what veil to put with this dress. Should I do this one? Or a fingertip length one? Or should I not wear a veil at all? If you had a dress with a big train like mine please share photos of it with your veil, or without! Thank you!

I always envisioned a cathedral veil for my wedding, but I also have a long train that’s detailed, so I ended up getting a veil that comes down to the back of my knees.I think despite being different than what I’ve envisioned, it goes with the dress perfectly, and doesn’t take away from the detail on my train. I would suggest the same!

Here is the photo, had to switch devices lol. You can see it stops right before the detail starts.

I don’t think veils must exceed the length of train. But I can’t tell from your photos if your veil is raw edge or if the veil has the lace appliqués on it. If your veil has the appliqués I think generally then you want that veil to be longer than the train in order to see the appliqués. While I do like that idea for a veil in general, I don’t think it’s necessary with your dress. If I were you I’d do a raw edge veil that is just as long as the dress’ train. Or maaaaaybe waltz. I think you just want it to look intentional where it ends. With the appliqués on the end of the veil they just get lost and look a little disconnected.

I really like Suzie's look, and how the veil melts into the dress. If you're looking for a longer train, here's a simple, sheer one that goes to 15ft long.

There's lots of options online for custom-length veils. I recommend Blanca veils (website OR on Etsy). They will work with you to get the right length. That being said, I do thing your dress would look great with a fingertip veil because the train speaks for itself.
