Wedding timeline too short

Hey all! So my venue only allows 4 hrs including ceremony, any additional hour is $500 more. We really don’t want to spend anymore money but it’ seems to me like 3 hrs for reception is too short. The ceremony is 5:00-5:30 and 5:30 to 6:30 is cocktail hour but we will be taking our photos during this...
Hey all! So my venue only allows 4 hrs including ceremony, any additional hour is $500 more. We really don’t want to spend anymore money but it’ seems to me like 3 hrs for reception is too short. The ceremony is 5:00-5:30 and 5:30 to 6:30 is cocktail hour but we will be taking our photos during this window. We will be announced at 6:30 and we will have only until 9:30 to get the first dance, dinner, bouquet and garter tods and cake cutting in. Does this seem adequate?

    Ok so talked to FH and fam and with much thought I think we will do a first look to get all our photos out of the way so we can enjoy our night!
