Wedding Thank You cards - Picture or No Picture?

We will be doing Wedding Thank you cards with our picture. My brother did them, and a lot of people ended up cutting off the picture and sticking it on their fridge.

So we have two votes for picture!

I'm planning to include pictures in mine. My photographer is going to do a shot of FH and me holding a thank you banner. She also promises to get the images back to me quickly, so I'll wait for that and print off the "thank you" one to include.

I made a "Thank You" banner and FH and I are going to take day-of pics with it. I love the idea, I'm going to get them printed at CVS, but just be sure to still hand write something on the back.

We definitely are doing pictures on our TY cards! I ordered a small quantity of cards with an engagement pic on them to get us through til the wedding, and then I'll get more with a wedding pic on them.

We are getting personalized cards that we can use for multiple occasions. They will not have pictures. :-)

We already made ours with an engagement photo.

Pre-wedding thank you cards will not have a photo though, since these ones have our married monogram on it.

I made our thank you cards with some of our favorite engagements photos because we never did save the date cards. Plus that way if we get wedding presents early we can write our thank you notes ahead of time

I vote pictures - our photographer actually includes a tri-fold thank you with our package... so they will get lots of pictures

I think it's really nice when thank you cards come with pics (my cousins wedding she sent a pic of her and the groom and also one of her and I - I really loved that) But if you don't have the funds it's not necessary

I do love the photos. When I meet my couples, they're usually in sweats (or on Skype, so who knows, lol.....) and then I get to see them all dressed up! I love seeing the wedding photo!

Definitely add a picture!

We're doing photo thank you cards

I would love to have a wedding picture included on our thank yous. But I don't want to wait for the photos to be done to get thank yous out in the mail!

We had this very same question! I ended up going with no picture because I found some really nice cards at the dollar store (10 for $1) and could not justify spending $1 for each photo card. Instead, we included a wedding photo of us with the person(s) the card was for. We printed the photos through Walgreens for about 10 cents each.
