We are looking at using "iris" by the goo goo dolls as our processional song as an instrumental version. What does everyone think? Honest opinion!

I think that sounds lovely. I’m a big fan of instrumental versions of popular songs for processionals.

So originally I was like it's kind of a sad song to me...like the original sounds a little sad. BUT then I went and listened to some instrumentals on YouTube, including one of a wedding processional, and I think it sounds absolutely beautiful for a processional song!

I love Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, but its one of those morbidly beautiful songs. I don't think its an inappropriate song at all but the lyrics are a bit dark in some ways, so I think an instrumental version would be perfect!
