Wedding Shower

Has anyone had a Jack&Jill running shower? If so, did you invite a majority of people that are invited to the wedding? I was thinking more of the bridal party and close family, but don't want anyone to feel excluded and it is a greenback shower. Thank you!

We had a coed wedding shower, and kept our invite list to 30 people. They were all invited to the wedding (it would be rude otherwise), and were really only our closest friends.

Most people won't feel excluded from a bridal shower, it's generally considered a small affair.

Jack and Jill’s are super common in my area! I think it’s still not a “norm” for the more traditional people though. My plan is, and from the ones I’ve been invited to, we will create a FB event that is public and invite only friends who are invited to the wedding. For whatever reason, people love to come to them even if they aren’t wedding guests so it’ll be a public event that others could chose to attend if they want to. I have been invited/pressured to attend a jack and Jill in the past and I knew I would not be a wedding guest so it rubbed me sooo wrong.
