We are still proceeding! We will have masks and hand sanitizer available for our guests. We'll be seating 8 to a table instead of the original 10. We're getting married in a church, so they already have precautions in place there. Our venue has restricted us to 150. So it hasn't really been any additional stress as far as those things are concerned. We've had to send out our invitations in "rounds". We have tossed around the idea or ordering some colored wristbands (red, yellow, green) for guests -- might also alleviate the awkwardness of people not knowing who they can approach and interact with. We haven't made an official decision on it yet.

We are moving forward with our 09/19/20 wedding in St Augustine, FL. Our venue will be taking guests temperatures before they come inside. They also have hand sanitizer stations all throughout the venue, but we will be adding some small bottles at high-touch places like Photo-booth, Guest Book/Well wishes cards, bar, etc.

Masks are not required at our venue, but they are recommended. We will be providing individually wrapped masks for whoever feels safer wearing one. In addition, the venue will be using upgraded disposable plates/cups/cutlery. They gave us the option to use the real china, but we opted for the disposable because they look good. Also, if any guests drop a glass or something, we are not responsible for paying for the damages lol. All servers will be wearing gloves and masks, and our package includes a buffet manager, so our buffet will be served by someone else, instead of the guests themselves.

I like the idea that the first poster added, https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/social-distancing-wristbands/b6a9778e68d54f65.html - I showed it to my FH and he liked it too. We might be brainstorming to have something like this, but not necessarily wristbands. Maybe pins.

We still have 32 days left, so things can change at any point and more restrictions could be put into place. Hopefully that's not the case **fingers crossed**

    Best of luck!

My fiance and I just finished all of our wedding signage and came up with these three phrases for the colored pins, since we didn't like the original yellow and red ones:
Green - ok with hugs and high-fives
Yellow - Air-fives and finger guns only please
Red - Celebrating from six feet away

We didn't like how in the original post it seemed like red said "don't even talk to me," so we tried to break it into "no-contact" and "distancing" groups instead.
