We are still going through with ours on 8/22. Our guest list is 80% of venue capacity. Tables will be 6 feet apart and we are sitting people based on family groups. Our self serve buffet has been changed to a buffet with servers. We will have hand sanitizer available as well as disinfecting supplies. Masks are now mandatory in our county so masks we shall have. We are not providing them, but at this point everyone here knows they need a mask.

As of now we're moving forward with our 10/10/20 wedding with a guest list of about 20-25 out of 40. We're having both the ceremony and reception in my fiance's parents back yard which is huge, so it should be easy to social distance. Since the majority of our guests are travelling, we'll re-evaluate in September and if things are really bad, we'll postpone till the Spring (not even sure if things will be better by then though).

I am a South Florida bride. Original date was 5/1/20, our venue closed and we postponed to 9/5/20... on 7/10 our county prohibited weddings. We decided to move to 2/13/21, it was a hard and emotional decision, I cried (I am a crier, bless my FH) but, I have 200+ invites and this is quite the expense for us, I don't want to pay what we are paying for a wedding that is not my dream wedding so I decided to give it a 3rd shot (they say 3rd time is a charm). I am pretty happy now with our new date, February should have nice weather here, I originally wanted a February wedding but everyone told me it wasn't enough time to plan (looking back I should have done what I wanted). My colors don't quite go with the season lol, but it's pretty so I am keeping it. Also, all of my vendors were available so it worked out. Everyone I know who got engaged after me is now getting married before me (August, November and January) which I was a little heartbroken about, but what is important is that we are healthy, we are working, and we are happy. Plus - we got a puppy to celebrate our would be date in May lol. Congrats to all the happy couples here, I hope your September weddings are full of love and beauty, enjoy your day!!

Hi! I just had my destination wedding in Puerto Rico in July and everything was fantastic. Sure, some people cancelled last minute out of fear of flying, but I didnt let it weigh me down on my big day. Have faith and follow your heart!

Our wedding is planned for Oct 23. We have been planning about 20 guests and doing it at our home since before COVID- however, it's still nerve-wracking. We are going forward with it because like others have said we have all the deposits paid and for months people have been saying that Oct should be better. I hate the idea of having it hanging over me another year as well. It's going to be very hard to do true social distancing at our home. We are having a cake and a caterer, but all food will be served by the catering folks and they will be wearing masks. There will be no dancing, just some toasts and probably no hugs either. We mostly worry about the cavalier few, and don't know how to ask that if they aren't habitually wearing masks etc. that they stay home. We're still playing it by ear and may have to ask folks not to come at the last minute.

Hi Alex, no its not a hotel, and I'm not sure how independent they are since its a veterans club in our town, so they have to follow certain guidelines

As of this moment we are still moving forward with our Sept 4 wedding. Masks required at reception when not at our table Soo I bought personalized masks as favors figured it would add to the fun. There is a limit of amount of people, I’m excited and can’t wait !!

I'm getting married on 9/19. The date is super important to us so we're sticking to it no matter what. We moved it outside into my one bridesmaid's backyard. We can have up to 100 for outside but are probably gonna stick around 75. I'm actually pretty happy with our choice to move forward like this even though the one thing I didn't want was for it to be outside haha. We're gonna space people out based on who hangs out with who regularly anyway. That'll help with any potential spreading of covid.

I live in Southern California and I'm supposed to get married in October.. but because things change month to month, it's hard for our venue to even predict if it's still feasible. Actually, everyone in the office are still out and furloughed so I have not heard from them. I'm ok with a small guest count of 25... but if I book another place and our governor orders another shut down.. I would be fighting for refunds from 2 different venues. What do I do?

I would certainly look at NY's list of banned states. I hear they added a few more this morning and I believe they're up to 30 states.

Not sure if this will affect anything, but just to be sure. Smiley laugh

That’s awesome! We are planning on having our ceremony outdoors and reception with plenty of spacing between family and friends. We will have hand sanitizer spray bottles and mask for bridal/groom party just for a few pictures. We decided to move forward with our wedding. We are getting married tomorrow 7/25/2020.

We are still getting married 9/26 in MN. Currently everyone has to wear masks while indoors here in MN. We can have about 200 guests at our wedding with the limited capacity so we are inviting everyone on our list. The venue is providing hand sanitizer and spacing out all of the tables for us. Our Buffett will be served and dancing may have to be limited. Otherwise we are trying to make it as normal as possible 😊

We were scheduled for September 12, 2020 but made the decision a couple of weeks ago to postpone until September 18, 2020. As of now we would have still been allowed to have an event with 100 max people, but had a lot of family (nearly everybody out of state and city) hesitant to attend and it’s understandable because we are in Texas. We knew the people who were most important to us (parents/grandparents/bridal party) would still be there had we chosen to continue as planned but we felt it too risky to ask those most near and dear to us to put themselves at risk just for our wedding. Nor did I really love the idea of wearing a mask with my wedding dress but..overall it wouldn’t have been the wedding we’ve been planning for two years. Also we felt it was risky to not postpone now and then possibly get shut down like two weeks before the day or something crazy and have to scramble at the last minute.

Getting married on 10/10 in the FL Keys - we are providing our guests custom face masks and hand sanitzer in their welcome bags. I've been following the gathering sizes, restrictions regularly and don't foresee a problem even if the numbers continue the way they are.

We are still having our wedding on Sept 25th! We have scaled down our guest list, and nixed our country club venue and rented a 60 acre estate. Everything about the wedding will now be outdoors. We are not doing any stationary displays, all passed apps, and a plated dinner service. I really like the seating plan ideas ladies! We also let all of our guests know, no pressure, you are coming at your own risk, but basically do NOT attend if you feel uncomfortable. We are also streaming the ceremony so all can watch if they would like!

Outdoor ceremony - just 5 people (us and our 3 kids) on September 28th. So far, things are holding but I am in Missouri. So - as long as 5 people from 1 household can be at the venue/cottage - we're a go. I tried planning this time to be cancellation proof. Fingers crossed!
