Wedding save the date

Typically, Save the Dates go out 6-8 months before the wedding. However, if it’s a destination for your guests, you can send them up to a year out. I’d also send them only to your VIPs in case you have to make any cuts before you send out invites.

It depends what day of the year it will fall on. For example my wedding is on a Thursday so we are planning to send out our save the dates a little under a 1 year before our wedding next year. Trying to get them out in August to be honest. Just because want to give everyone their best chance to make it with time ☺️ If your wedding is like on a Saturday then about 6-8 months before your wedding is fine and 3-4 months before the wedding your invitations 🤍

I’ve heard 8-10 months.

I feel Dec 202p or Jan 2021 good. However some ppl end them out a year and advance .

We send STDs in March for our October DW - it was perfect and not too early and not too late.

Our wedding is May 2021, I'm sending the STDs this September/October.

You can send them anytime between 6-12 months ahead. Earlier times allow more time to schedule time off, save money, make travel arrangements.
