Wedding Sash: bigger is better or less is more?

I would go with thin because of the shorter torso.

I don't like colored sashes. So I would go with a thin belt. I put one on my dress too for the reception after I took off my veil. I got it on etsy for $50

I have a shorter torso and thin blingy belts looked way better on me than thicker belts.

Definitely go thinner if you are worried about your torso! We are dress twins I got one that is biggest in the middle and as it goes to the back, gets smaller.

I'd definitely go with a thin "blingy" belt. A color would take away from the dress.
