Wedding Sash: bigger is better or less is more?

Tanya, on March 15, 2016 at 9:36 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

So I have the Morilee Blu 5108 dress. It's pretty popular so most of you have seen it before (pic below as a reminder). I know I definitely want a sash to bring in a little sparkle but I'm wondering, would you go with a wide, thick belt or something thinner? Keep in mind, to give you a visual of me, I am only 5'2 so I have a very short torso and my dress is a whopping size 18. (street size 16) I'm fairy curvy but I hate my midsection. Thought on the belt/sash? Thin or thick belt?

I would go with thin because of the shorter torso.

Love that dress. Less is more in this case! I'd go thin.

I don't like colored sashes. So I would go with a thin belt. I put one on my dress too for the reception after I took off my veil. I got it on etsy for $50

I'd have to see your choices but based on your description I'd agree that a thin belt will look better on a shorter torso.

I would probably say thin belt too, but without pic options, its hard to say.

I have a shorter torso and thin blingy belts looked way better on me than thicker belts.

Definitely go thinner if you are worried about your torso! We are dress twins Smiley smile I got one that is biggest in the middle and as it goes to the back, gets smaller.

I'd pick a thin belt as well.

I'd definitely go with a thin "blingy" belt. A color would take away from the dress.

I tried on that dress and loved it. I think we did a thinner belt/sash and it looked great
