Wedding Rings

My fiance and I are staying in possession of our rings until the ceremony, at which I or my fiance will hand them to the best man right before he walks down the aisle. Less chance of someone else misplacing them, and I won't have to worry about anyone else being in charge of them.

I had a ring box with both our rings in it, and I had it in my possession until right before the ceremony was about to start.

Agree with PP, we're keeping the rings with us until right before the ceremony begins.

I'm going to keep the rings with me and when the photographer arrives, she will take some flat lay photos with the rings. These photos usually have the invitation,jewelry, shoes, flowers, the rings.. a bunch of little things. Here's a pic for example. Then I will hand the rings to the best man right before the ceremony.

This is what we are doing too! My dad will be looking after the rings so I will keep them until the flat lay happens, and then I'll hand them to him either in the car on the way to the ceremony, or just before we walk down the aisle or something. My dress has pockets so I could technically keep them on me until quite late in the piece, lol.

Personally, I'm wearing mine now. Our wedding date is April 9th 2022 but we orginially were getting married on that date a year prior but it rained. So we married ourselves by the fireplace in our bedroom, saying everything that you are suppose to say and adding very soul felt words about and to each other. It was amazing and we asked God to bless us and then had our honeymoon, lol. In my heart and his we are married. The wedding in April of this year is for our family and friends and to be legal. So I wear my rings and he wears his now. The day of the wedding we will give them to my 5 year old son,

as ring bearer to present them and the officant will say the right things as we legally become one. In our hearts we already are.🥰

I'm planning on having my mom hold onto them honestly.

With my bundle of nerves I'm sure to be, I'll forget them in the hotel room, and my FH can't remember anything told to him for longer than 5 minutes.

My mom is getting ready with me and my bridesmaids in the hotel room, so I will give them to her and she will give them to the better man (FH has his two brothers as best men, and the three of them came up with the term "better man" for the one standing next to the groom lol) right before the processional starts.

Our photographer has agreed to keep them in his possession until our first look. Then we will be each be given the other's

That is so cute calling him the "better man". I think that's what thing I am scared of, I'd hate to have done all this planning just to have someone leave the rings back at the hotel room.

Aww, that is so cute to hold on to each others rings. Idk if I could trust my photographer to hold onto them, I wouldn't want him to forget to give them back. But we are having two different photographers, one that our venue is providing and one to come do the get ready photos.
