Wedding Rings

My engagement ring and band came as a set, but we got my FW's ring around 6 months out. We didn't really have a specific time we planned to look, we were just in the same area as the jewelry store that day and decided to drop by. I would at least start looking around the 6 month mark.

Don't worry! LOL I've been looking but trying not to break the bank for some rings. I think I'm most likely going to get them in December just so it's not like a last minute purchase. I've been looking on Amazon but was worried about purchasing too early!

My ring came with an enhancer which will be my "wedding band". We are almost months out and FH just bought his band a week or ago ❤

HAHA!! No worries! Yeah we're getting married on April 4 and I feel like time is slipping through our fingers! I always feel like I'm missing something despite having numerous excel spreadsheets organizing myself. Time is just flying, month twin!! It's good your FH has his band now! I bought my fiancé’s ring five months out and my band had to be special ordered but they messed it up. It got officially ordered last week so now it won’t be here til after the wedding and I have to wear a placeholder ring at the ceremony :-(

I ordered my wedding band right after I got engaged. About 9 months before the wedding and just bought his band in September(wedding is in December). We caught a good sale each time, just be on the look out and go try some on.

I wasn’t part of the norm we have had ours all in one shot right after we were engaged we picked out a ring set for me and my matching jewelry and his ring! Made it easier 😂

I wanted something similar to mine. He wanted something with color. I was able to achieve both.

I placed 4 Bands in a 🛒. Then let him select the one that he liked best since he has to wear it.

We both like the Jewelry by Johann look (black stardust, and meterorite), but we didn’t have time to order a custom size.

so we swung by kohl’s 2 weeks out from the wedding, and I found the perfect one! (This was a size too big, went to exchange yesterday.) both our rings were $30.

We are getting ours from a local jeweler in LA called Padani Jewelers. My FH got my e-ring there.

We are about 4 months out, but I had already started 2 weeks ago. The jeweler took a mould of my ring because it'll be a custom band. FH hasn't made a final choice on his - on whether he wants custom or one of the bands they have. The jeweler told me he shouldn't wait long because the holidays are a busy season for jewelry making because ideally we'd get the bands back around Dec/Jan.

I hear 3 months is in time for any engraving or resizing. However, we will be going 8 months out because we want Black Friday deals .
We looked at Kohl’s yesterday because they had an early BF sale, but their BF ad is already out and it looks like it’ll be better then.

We bought my wedding band 6 months out, we’re still looking for FH’s ring and we’re 5 months out now.

I’m going to try and buy on or around Black Friday. I know the rings regular price and I know the item numbers from when we went to the store to try on. So I’m simply waiting for them to put them on sale. Our wedding is June 2020 so it will be about 7 months out if they go on sale! Otherwise I might wait longer to see if there is a New Years or Valentines sale.

Im skipping the wedding band/enhancer for mine- I think it'll make it too bulky. I got his on Amazon for $20, and its the exact same ring I saw in a jewelry store for $150. We're over a year out still, but his ring is black, so we're not worried about how/ when to clean it, etc before the wedding. It'll be stored in a box until then.
