Wedding registry.....to have or not

I am indecisive on whether we should register for gifts. This is a second wedding for both of us and I've had my house with my stuff. He will be moving into my house. However, I don't want to confuse my guests and them not know what to do as far as gifts. There are things I'd like but not necessarily need. Any advice would be very appreciated

If you don’t make a registry then I’m sure guests will just give you money which may be better?

We do not have a registry. We've got a house with everything we need. I don't think it's weird to not register. Personally I would like to see registries not be a "thing" anymore.
